Bic Runga

Bic Runga is one of New Zealand’s most beloved musicians, celebrated for her crystalline vocals, timeless songwriting, and deeply emotive melodies. For more than two decades, her music has shaped the soundtrack of Aotearoa, reflecting an artistry rooted in both intimacy and craft. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist and producer, she continues to define Kiwi music with her unmistakable sound.

In January 2006, Bic was made a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, and in 2016 was the recipient of the Legacy Award at the New Zealand Music Awards as well as inducted in to the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.
